  • Join our reservation list and we'll contact you when reservations close, typically around February 15. A deposit will secure your animal, with pickup generally available between March 15 and A.

  • The listed price includes the animal only.

    Processing, harvest fees, and cut & wrap services are not included. These costs are determined by the processor and vary based on the animal’s weight and your cutting instructions.

    Customers may work directly with the processor or request assistance from Blue Tent farms in coordinating these services.

  • Yes. Our sheep and goats are raised on open Northern California pastures with access to fresh air, clean water, and natural forage.

  • No. We do not use added hormones and only administer medications when medically necessary for animal welfare.

  • Whole Lamb: Approximately 8–10 cubic feet

    Half Lamb: Approximately 4–5 cubic feet

    Whole Goat: Approximately 6–8 cubic feet

    Half Goat: Approximately 3–4 cubic feet

  • Yes. Depending on availability, both whole and half lambs and goats may be available.

  • Pickup information will be provided when your order is scheduled for processing.

  • Yes. A deposit is required to reserve your animal once reservations open.

  • No. We respect your privacy. Information collected through our reservation form is used only to notify you about meat availability, reservations, and pickup information.

  • Yes! Every customer who reserves a lamb or goat is automatically entered into our annual drawing to win their choice of one lamb or one goat.
